Visual Artist

Elsa Charalampous is a Greek visual artist based in Luxembourg since 2020. Working across painting, printmaking, installation, video and mixed media, her practice explores the human figure as a narrative space of emotion, memory, and identity.
She graduated with distinction from the Athens School of Fine Arts and has exhibited internationally. Her work is included in major international museums and institutional collections, including the National Art Museum of China, the Ino-Cho Paper Museum (Japan), and the CICA Museum (South Korea).
Artist’s Statement
The act of seeing has been replaced by mere observation.
Through the human figure, my work seeks to restore a slower and more meaningful experience of perception, where memory, emotion, and presence are reconnected.
For me, art is a space of inquiry and transformation — a way to question and reconfigure how we perceive the world and ourselves.
